• Two stage stainless steel filter outer layer protects the ultra fine inner layer. No "bits" in your coffee. 
• Just rinse after use, Grinds are compostable.
• You'll need to experiment with the amount/grind of coffee to get the coffee just the way you like it. 

I tested a lot of coffee filters before settling on this one. Makes a really good cup of coffee, is robust, packable, light and the flow rate is excellent.
