No more foil windscreens blowing about in the wind or loosing your wire pan rest, this is a sturdy but lightweight solution where the pan and it's contents hold the combined windscreen/pot rest firmly on the ground.
By enclosing the pot and fine tuning the alcohol burner, we are able to utilise every last ounce of the energy in your fuel to heat the contents of your mug.
Everything packs into the mug, no exposed parts to crush or get lost.
- The cook kits specific version of the lidless carbon burner holds up to 25ml of alcohol and is capable of boiling 2 cups of cold water with 11g of fuel, burns for 15min from brimmed full. Unlike other designs, no priming required. Just light and you're ready to cook. Will not flare or pulse like "jetted" pop can stoves, safe controlled burn from lighting to finish. I started building my own burners because I was unhappy with what was available elsewhere, they have been tested in the field on many backpacking and bikepacking he trips. Weighs only around 12g.
