For sale is the folding stove base/ground protector. Anything else is for illustration purposes only
This folding aluminium stove base allows you to stand your windscreen/pot rest on almost any surface without scorching and allowing the burner to breathe correctly. People have (myself included) previously used thick foil as a heat reflector and ground protector but foil can't prevent the whole assembly from sinking into grass or other soft surfaces cutting off vital oxygen to the burner..
An effective and efficient stove base and heat reflector, tested many times in all seasons on windswept Lake District tops and Scottish Highlands. Simply works.
Can be supplied with optional underside insulation, great for use on snow, frost and cold ground. Useful also if you use your stove on tables.
When using an insulated stove base, don’t fill the burner whilst standing on the base. Burning over flow will affect the insulation, which is unaffected in normal operation.
Insulation can also be affected if the base is used in a way that it is not intended for.
We make these by hand so please allow for some variation in finish, function is obviously unaffected.

Tip, I stand my pillar candle on mine also, an opened up windscreen makes a good reflector.
